Which character did you find most challenging or rewarding to develop, and why?

Another great question. I would say Mable and Adisa for different reasons. I liked writing about Mabel's strength under adversity and then about Adisa and her development as a character. I loved getting lost in my characters and imagining what it would be like about the late 18th Century.
